This BA route will develop your understanding of the Bible, the Church, Christian theology and contemporary culture. We will also help you develop your critical, analytical, interpretative and communication skills, equipping you for many different careers. The programme has also been set up for leadership and ministerial training within a church or missional context, as well as preparing you for many different areas of Christian service, whether or not this is in a specifically Christian context.

Assessment method

Most units are assessed by means of assignments and portfolios. The only examinations are for the optional units on the biblical languages Hebrew and Greek.

A level CC The normal minimum academic qualification for admission to the BA course is two A levels (grade C or above). Applicants who do not fulfil this academic requirement but have significant relevant experience will be considered for admission to the Certificate course if they possess a minimum of three GCSE passes (grade C or above).
