Nottingham Trent University has opted into the TEF and received a Gold award.
This four-year sandwich degree combines practical experience with modern legal practice. The course has a strong focus on practical work experience by providing a year-long work placement opportunity. You will gain vocational work experience that will look excellent on your CV. You’ll also be awarded the Diploma in Professional Practice, in addition to your degree, upon the successful completion of your placement year.
We provide compulsory foundation modules to ensure you’ll be awarded a qualifying law degree for professional practice. You’ll also be able to choose from a range of optional law modules in the second and final year, helping to tailor the course to meet your interests. In Year 3 you will undertake a work placement for a minimum of 36 weeks and in your final year you can study the Path to Professional Practice module which prepares you for a legal career or undertake an independent research project. You will also take five option modules.
