Course summary
This two-year Certificate of Higher Education provides all the skills you need to gear up for a rewarding career in the automotive and motorsport sectors. If you have experience in or a genuine passion for the automotive and motorsport industry and would like to progress your career but lack the qualifications (and possibly the confidence) to study at degree level, this course could be right up your street. Incorporating a foundation year which will get you back into the world of education, this programme will give you the skills and knowledge you need to successfully complete the Cert HE qualification and potentially progress onto our Foundation Degree. Co-created with employers and taught by industry specialists, the course equips you to compete for higher technical positions in automotive engineering, vehicle design, service and repair, manufacture, motorsport, research and development, and quality assurance. And with the North West being the UK’s second biggest region for automotive manufacture, there is certainly plenty of opportunity for you to make your mark.
