Learn how to become an adult and mental health nurse on this MNurs Nursing degree. You'll learn the skills needed to provide compassionate, evidence-based care as you prepare for a career that combines skills from both areas. Examples of core modules for year one will include: An Introduction to Professional Practice (BSc), Applied Health Science for Nursing Practice, Foundations of Health Sciences for Nursing Practice, Fundamental Aspects of Care, Global and Public Health, Person Centred Nursing Care, Part 1 Practice Placement 1 for BSc and MN, Part 1 Practice Placement 2 for BSc and MN. Assessment method
Assessments on this programme range from coursework, written and practical exams to projects . Assessment takes place throughout the course to ensure that you are reaching the right levels of attainment. Your practical skills will be assessed whist you are on placement and recorded by your practice mentor.

Entry requirements
Qualification requirements
GCSEs: Minimum of GCSE Maths and English Language (A*-C or 4-9). GCSE Science (A*-C or 4-9) also required if not offered as a level 3 qualification. Certain GCSE equivalent qualifications will be considered. FETAC / QQI Level 5 120 Credits: Pass in every module, with distinction essential in at least 5 modules including Human Growth and Development (or Biology), Anatomy and Physiology and Nursing Theory. Recent relevant study must have been taken within the last 5 years. You may be required to attend a selection day. Satisfactory Occupational Health and Police Checks required.
