If you currently work with children 0-7 years and you are interested in learning more about young children’s lives and experiences this programme would develop your knowledge and skills. The programme has been designed to consolidate and extend your existing skills, knowledge and understanding of your professional practice by investigation, analysis and reflection on aspects of your work with children and families. Foundation degrees enable you to ‘learn as you earn’ by combining work based learning with part-time study - you gain academic credit for the learning you gain within the workplace. The course covers a wide range of topics, including: • Effective Pedagogy • International Perspectives • Mathematics in Early Education
