Foundation Year Our Foundation Year provides an excellent alternative route to Keele, providing a unique opportunity to better prepare for your chosen degree, and with guaranteed entry onto your undergraduate course once you successfully complete your Foundation Year. This extra year of study can improve your academic skills, expand your subject knowledge, give you a better understanding of higher education and, perhaps most importantly of all, build your confidence. On the Keele Foundation Year, you'll study on campus, joining our undergraduate community from the outset, with access to all the facilities and support that you'd get as an undergraduate student at Keele. International Students For International Students, Foundation Years are delivered through our dedicated on-campus provider, Keele University International College. To find out more, visit https://kuic.keele.ac.uk/ Law with Environmental Sustainability Building on Keele's status as Global Institution of the Year (International Green Gown Awards, 2021), Law with Environmental Sustainability is an innovative course that allows you to explore the role of the law in humanity's response to the climate crisis while also studying foundational areas of law like contract and tort. You will also have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities that will enhance your experience and professional development including our Legal Advice Clinics and mooting and client interviewing competitions. The first of its kind in the UK, this programme equips you with a robust knowledge of the seven foundations of legal knowledge required by The Bar Standards Board, while also allowing you to explore the role of the law in humanity’s response to the climate crisis. The programme will help to equip you with the expertise required to pursue a career in law or a related field. Building on our root and branch commitment to sustainability and our pioneering reputation, Law with Environmental Sustainability is suited to students who are engaged with, or wish to learn more about, issues such as climate change and corporate responsibility.
