Course summary

On this taught programme, which is available full- or part-time, you’ll develop advanced environmental planning and management skills. ‌You’ll also gain an understanding of the environmental implications of development action and of the wider social, political and economic issues surrounding decisions about the environment. This course is accredited by IEMA. IEMA is the professional body for everyone working in environment and sustainability. This course entitles students to FREE student membership for the duration of the course and on successful completion you qualify for GradIEMA. Graduate membership is a launchpad for future leaders within environment and sustainability and offers a range of benefits to support you throughout your career. International qualifications Applications from international students are welcome. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines. English language qualifications All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language and are required to provide evidence of this. If you meet the academic requirements of the course but do not have the required level of English Language, it is possible for you to come and study at the University on one of our Pre-sessional EAP programmes. Entry requirements

The normal entry requirement for all our postgraduate programmes is a good first degree (2:1) or above. Applications from those with non traditional qualifications and relevant work experience are also welcomed and will be considered on their individual merits. International qualifications: Applications from international students are welcome. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines.
