Course summary

This part-time Masters Degree in Counselling and Professional Development has been designed to give you enhanced knowledge of Counselling research, policy, and professional practice issues to enhance your academic and critical thinking skills. You will deepen your understanding of professional practice through examining the application of theory within the counselling sector. The MA Counselling and Professional Development provides an opportunity for graduates working within Counselling settings to gain a postgraduate research-based professional qualification in Counselling and to ‘get on the ladder’ to a career in research.
