Do you want to learn a range of skills that will support your success as a modern engineer? Would you like to develop a range of attributes that will support you through your career? The programme develops a wide range of engineering skills to prepare students for the exciting world of modern engineering. Subjects cover the underpinning maths and science as well as exploring the core skills required for 21st century engineers such as materials, CAD, project management, automation and robotics, programming, design, workshop practices and research/development. The HND programme offers an excellent way to a study towards a degree level programme in Engineering with all the benefits of staying local and with small class sizes and the close support of industrially and educationally experienced lecturers. Students also benefit from academic and pastoral 1:1 tutorials, directed self-study and assignment workshops.
