Who is this course for? If your primary interest within the aviation industry is safety this course is perfect. You'll need to have been working within the industry for at least two years. Current students include pilots, air traffic controllers, maintenance staff and engineers. The majority have a license/professional education. You can also enrol if you have a military background and this course is compatible with The MoD's Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS). This programme is recognised by the aviation industry and approved by the Royal Aeronautical Society.


Entry requirements

Applicants must be employed in the aviation industry. You will normally require a professional licence, for example an Air Transport Pilot's Licence, Aircraft Engineer Licence, Air Traffic Controller Licence or similar. However, applicants with bachelor’s degrees in an aviation related subject (aeronautical engineering, aviation management or similar) will also be considered.
