This specialist course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills employers are looking for, in this challenging but exciting environment. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to use your digital marketing knowledge to create communication campaigns for both social media and more traditional channels. You’ll also have a practical understanding of various digital marketing skills applicable to current and future trends, from marketing analytics to consumer behaviour perspectives, so you can make well-informed business decisions in real-world situations. What you will study This MSc course provides the core aspects required to gain an in-depth understanding of digital marketing, complemented by your choice of two optional modules, based on your own interests and career aspirations. Whether you choose the 12, 15 or part-time version, you’ll have the chance to explore a range of modern digital marketing topics in detail, including: -Digital marketing strategy -Social media marketing -Entrepreneurship and the digital economy -Marketing and web analytics This course is taught through interactive lectures, seminars and small-group laboratory sessions. You’ll also attend talks by industry guest speakers, who’ll share practical examples and help you reflect on what you learn, giving you the opportunity to develop your professional network. Please note that this course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Our graduates who enrol with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) as an affiliate can study CIM qualifications without having to complete all the modules. For most qualifications, you’ll only need to take two assessments instead of the usual three, meaning you’ll be able to add an individual award to supplement your degree. Please note, there’s a fee to join the CIM.

Entry requirements

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. English language requirements Full-time (1 year): IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each section. Part-time (2years): IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with 6.0 in each element. Full-time with study abroad (15 months): IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each section. Full-time with placement (15 months): IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each section.
