Course summary
The HNC Business programme provides students with a wide range of opportunities and practical preparation for working within a business context. The course has a strong vocational focus and aims for students to develop the skills and techniques to support their progression into industry. It has been designed to embrace the ever-changing nature of the modern business environment and will include modules of Business Environment, Marketing, HR, Leadership and Management, Accounting and Business Projects. The mix of theory and practice enables students to apply what they have learned to real industry situations, improving their employment prospects and work-related experience.
Modules
Typical Modules Include: Business and the Business Environment Marketing Processes and Planning Human Resource Management Leadership and Management Accounting Principles Managing a Successful Business Project Entrepreneurial Ventures Digital Business in Practice *Optional modules will run where there are sufficient student numbers, otherwise an alternative option module may be offered.
