Realising your dreams has never been easier. Whether you want to work within the public or private healthcare sector, or set out as an entrepreneur, studying on our Business and Healthcare Management course will impart the knowledge and employability skills that can fast-track you onto the healthcare landscape. This course will provide you with a range of opportunities to develop the attitudes, abilities and competencies needed to work in a health and social care environment, both home and international. The course will also encourage entrepreneurship as you will have opportunities to develop the skills required to analyse complex contemporary business and healthcare organisations. Business analysis is a critical factor in determining organisational options as it forms the basis for negotiating, planning and execution to deliver on organisational goals. Employers from the healthcare sector have been directly involved in the design and development of this course. Collaborations with these sector partners are used to explore those skill sets that employers are most interested in and to constantly ensure they are embedded within the delivery of the course. You will also benefit from lecturers who have significant experience across the industry. On successful completion of this course, you might choose to move onto our postgraduate studies, such as our Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Health and Social Care.

Assessment method
We’ll assess your progress through a variety of methods from coursework, group assignments, activity-based assignments and exams. You can expect to take part in on-going problem-solving activities, projects and presentations. You’ll also be able to access support material through our ARU Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). All assignments are designed with your career progression in mind and give you opportunities to develop and improve transferable skills employers look for.

Qualification requirements
There are no qualification requirements for this course.
Students without English as their first language will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (Academic level with at least 5.5 in each of the four components) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. We also welcome applications from mature students who can demonstrate appropriate and relevant work experience.
