Events management is a dynamic industry and this Combined Honours degree allows study with another subject such as Advertising, Digital Photography, and other Media subjects. Warrington hosts a number of events annually, including Creamfields festival. Our staff have experience of managing events, and we are members of the Association for Events Management Education. Business Management: Accelerate your career path as a professional manager. Owners, managers and employees, at all levels, have an important part to play if business opportunities are to be realised. This means careful planning and monitoring, along with excellent management of stakeholder groups, finances and resources. Understanding the importance of an effective communication, marketing activities, quality and, of course, customer care is essential, if organisations are to compete with others trading within the same arena.

Events Management - We use a broad range of assessment methods, including reports, academic essays, examinations, discussion groups, presentations, debates, practical work and portfolios of evidence. The majority of assessment is via various forms of coursework. Business Management - Year 1 (Level 4) assessments focus upon knowledge and skill development through a blend of examinations, essays and reports. Year 2 (Level 5) assessments build upon this by developing optional interests, which can expand the assessments to include presentations, proposals and group work, whilst Year 3 (Level 6) assessments have a prominent focus upon individual projects and self-directed learning activities.
