Course summary

The BSc Health and Social Care Studies (Top up), validated by Sheffield Hallam University, enables students with a FdSc Professional Practice in Health and Social Care (or similar), to gain a full undergraduate degree qualification. The course will enable you to: • Develop an understanding of the complexities of working in the health and social care sector. • Gain analytical techniques and problem-solving skills that can be applied in many types of employment within the health and social care sector. • Earn an honours degree in this field, whether you’re a foundation degree holder or have studied equivalent level 5 health and social care qualifications. This top-up course is designed to enhance the qualifications of students who aim to work in non-registered roles across health and social care organisations. It will prepare you to lead organisations and services in emerging integrated health and social care roles.
