Course summary
This course is designed for learners who aim to enhance their knowledge of English language and literature while engaging with education themes, including teaching young learners, English testing and management. The course aims to prepare students to become effective teachers, managers or leaders in a variety of educational settings e.g. state and private higher education institutions, colleges and schools, as well as language academies, testing centres, consultancies or governmental agencies. You will have the chance to study a diverse range of modules on language/linguistics, literature, teaching English and education management. The course prepares students to be informed managers in a time of global complexity as well as digitally literate global citizens. Modules
On this one year top-up course you will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in a range of different fields including: language/linguistics; literature; teaching English; and education management. Modules Concepts in Education Management Themes in English Literature Effective Communication for Management and Leadership Teaching Young Learners Language Testing and Assessment Career Development Project We regularly review our course content, to make it relevant and current for the benefit of our students.
