Course summary
Technique classes are very much about the ‘now’ including: Flying low technique, Skinner releasing, contemporary released approaches; alongside traditional dance techniques (Limon, Ballet and body conditioning). All classes are underpinned with theoretical and contextual study, helping you find your place, in an ever-widening profession.Teaching takes place at the Kingsway Buildings.

Entry requirements
Qualification requirements
You will be required to attend an audition which will consist of a 1 hour 30 minutes Studio Practice (technique) class and an 1 hour Creative Workshop. You will also be given the opportunity to see undergraduate work and the Performing Arts facilities. Please note the Welsh Baccalaureate (core) and A level General Studies will be recognised in our offer. We will also consider a combination of A levels and BTECs/OCRs. Candidates who do not meet the minimum entry requirements, or who have non-standard qualifications and/or relevant experience, are encouraged to apply and will be considered if they can demonstrate appropriate ability through their audition.
