What you’ll do
  • This five-year master’s-level course offers an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry, making it a six-year master’s programme.
  • You’ll access lectures and masterclasses on topics such as the effective use of computer-aided design software, computational fluid dynamics, and finite element analysis.
  • You’ll be encouraged to join the Royal Aeronautical Society and to participate in local branch events alongside your studies.
Accreditations
  • This MEng course is professionally accredited by the IMechE (which represents mechanical engineers and the engineering profession) as fulfilment of the educational requirements to become a Chartered Engineer.
  • This MEng course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers as meeting the academic requirement for membership and registration for Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council.
Future careers Aerospace Engineering graduates go on to roles in the aerospace, space, defence, automotive, biotechnology, computing, electronics, energy and manufacturing sectors.
