Course summary
TEF Silver
Buckinghamshire New University has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
Our degrees with foundation years are available in a range of subject areas at our High Wycombe campus. You can start your foundation year in January 2021 and finish in July 2021. This route allows you to accelerate your journey into higher education, whilst developing your confidence in degree-level learning. Foundation year acts as an additional year to your degree, and during this time you will be able to develop new skills and knowledge in your area, home in on your interest and talents, and get an introduction to your chosen course. Once you pass your foundation year, you are guaranteed a place onto your chosen course and will enter the first year of the degree programme, starting September 2021. Every organisation needs accurate financial information to survive and grow. We equip you with the financial skills that employers look for in their accounts teams. After you graduate, you’ll be able to register with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), giving you a competitive edge when you apply for work. Where the Foundation Year is taught at University Campus Aylesbury Vale all subsequent years will be taught at High Wycombe Campus (https://bucks.ac.uk/high-wycombe-campus)
