Course summary

Solent’s Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)-accredited Construction Project Management degree has been running for over 30 years. Led by qualified professionals with extensive industry experience, you’ll learn both the technology of building, as well as process management. You’ll get to grips with the economic aspects of a project and the industry’s legal framework, while extensive industry involvement ensures you experience the most up-to-date technology and management techniques available. You’ll develop valuable industry skills and gain first-hand experience on this practical and vocational degree. Employability is embedded into the course, and employers are regularly involved in the delivery and assessment of projects at all levels. Course content is regularly reviewed to meet industry and professional requirements, and covers emerging topics in the field of construction management to ensure your learning is right up to date. The curriculum has been designed to give you the skills required by employers in the industry. And by undertaking challenging live briefs you’ll develop your teamwork, project management, problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation skills. As a student on this course, you’ll also benefit from professional accreditation by the CIOB. This means the course meets the standards set by employers, and enables you to take steps towards gaining professional qualifications, even before you’ve graduated.

Solent University can also accept the following English Language Test: Duolingo English Language Test 115 overall with a minimum of 95 in each component.
