Mechanical engineers design and develop systems, machinery and devices that may be in your home like your air fryer or solar panels on your roof, in industrial settings like heavy machinery for mining, and even in medical environments with prosthetics, MRI machines and surgical robots. Their work is wide-ranging and challenging, and they are creative problem-solvers and innovative thinkers. Our Mechanical Engineering MEng includes a year of masters-level study to develop your technical understanding, management and leadership skills to support your career progression.
