Studying Music, Performance and Production at the University of Kent’s Centre for Music and Audio Technology will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to launch your career in the music industry. Your critical skills are enhanced through the study of musical conventions and how these are used in a variety of musical styles and genres. You study the music industry and the wider creative industries and learn to write and perform music using industry-standard technology. You are taught by an excellent academic team of music practitioners and also benefit from practical masterclasses from leading performers. You can choose to spend either a term or an additional year in industry. This provides the opportunity to gain relevant workplace experience and increase your contacts and network, so that you can hit the ground running when you graduate.
