The maritime business sector is vast and multidisciplinary – with around 90% of global trade transported by sea, and a complex network of national and international regulations and laws. This specialist top-up degree delivers in-depth understanding of the legal framework which underpins maritime business, addressing complexities of safe delivery, ownership, insurance and more. On graduating you will have a thorough and current education in maritime business and law, with the knowledge to make an immediate contribution to industry organisations. And you will have the ability to apply that knowledge to real-world challenges, thanks to exercises incorporating real problems derived from the industry, which explore the practical and practicable applications of theory and technical concepts.
