Please note this course is only available for year three (level six) entry only. Crime and its impact are at the forefront of current political and social debate. A degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice and social policy enables you to explore the reality behind the newspaper headlines on crime and examine a topic which is relevant, topical and has real, practical application in contemporary society. You will study a wide range of topics covering the legal and sociological issues of criminology and criminal justice and the associated policy responses. The course equips students with knowledge and skills appropriate for a range of graduate roles in the statutory, voluntary and commercial sector. Teaching and learning is designed to support digital literacy. Students will acquire the skills necessary to gather evidence and apply theories to a range of social and political issues. Students are encouraged to share knowledge and be enterprising with their ideas.

Qualification requirements
Applicants are required to hold 120 credits at Level 4 and Level 5 (240 credits in total) for Year 3 entry from either a HND or a Foundation Degree in a Criminology and Social Policy related subject.

If you are a UK student enrolling on a full-time Foundation Degree or a Bachelor degree programme at the University of Wolverhampton in 2023/4, your fee for this academic year will be £9,250.
