Course summary
The BSc (Hons) Computer Science course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science, combining technical expertise, problem-solving skills and the creativity needed to thrive in the dynamic tech industry. Throughout this course, students can gain a solid foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of computing, from programming and mathematics to advanced topics like artificial intelligence, mobile development, and cloud computing. Students have the opportunity to work collaboratively, honing their teamwork and communication skills. By the end of the course, students can develop the knowledge and practical experience needed to pursue a variety of roles in the computing field, whether in software development, systems administration, data analysis, or even tech entrepreneurship.
