Applying engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems This five-year course takes the basics of BEng in Mechanical Engineering and delves deeper, with an emphasis on industry relevance. Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements HND - Pass in a relevant subject with Grade AA at SCQF Level 8 in the graded units. Must include Engineering Maths 1, 2, 3 and 4, Thermofluids and Statics and Strength of Materials. Irish Ordinary Degree - Pass in a relevant subject with 60% overall, with minimum 50% at first sitting in all final year subjects.
