Course summary

This BA (Hons) Fashion Management and Marketing course, awarded by the University for the Creative Arts, will equip you with the industry knowledge and specialist skills needed to thrive within today’s fast-paced fashion world. The course is designed to ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest trends of fashion business management and gain the transferable skills needed to significantly enhance your prospects within the fashion industry. You will be taught essential marketing and management tools needed to kick-start your fashion career. Students will have the opportunity to think strategically whilst enhancing their creativity and professional skills. This fashion business course also provides students with the opportunity to work with industry professionals to ensure you are workplace ready upon successful completion of the course. Year 1: The first year of this course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of fashion marketing and creative fashion business and management as well as key brand management techniques and fashion buying and merchandising Year 2: Year two of the BA (Hons) Fashion Business Management allows you to work out in which area you would like to specialise in and hone your skills during an industry work placement. Key areas of study include fashion forecasting, visual merchandising and professional practices. Year 3: The third year of this fashion course will encourage further independent work as you complete an industry-linked final major project.

120 credits from level 4 study in appropriate an subject area. Academic Interview. Year 3 entry: 240 credits from level 5 study in an appropriate subject area. Academic Interview.

The standard entry requirements* for this course are, one of the following: 64 new UCAS tariff points, see accepted qualifications Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma Pass at UAL Extended Diploma 64 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject 24 points from the International Baccalaureate, see more information about IB entry requirements And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grade 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2).
