Course summary
This programme recognises the massive growth in networks and connectivity driven by the popularity of the internet, in addition to the software systems that run on these networks. It focuses on the demand for IT professionals who can specify, design and implement network infrastructure as well as implement, manage, support and troubleshoot applications. Throughout this programme you will develop a broad knowledge of computing, in addition to developing your networking skills using our state-of-the-art Cisco equipment, programming skills, systems analysis and design techniques and database skills using industry standard database software.

Including at least 3 GCSEs at grade C or above, normally including Maths & English (or appropriate Functional Skills at Level 2 and IT related subjects; A Level/AS Level, BTEC/GNVQ/NVQ at Level 3 and to successfully complete an interview with the programme team. You may be asked to complete an IT skills audit test. Entry requirements may vary for those with relevant experience. Applicants must provide a personal statement and attend an interview.
