The MSc Advancing Practice in Occupational Therapy (Post-Registration) builds on the success of the former post-registration master’s in Occupational Therapy. It is a programme designed to support practitioners to develop and advance their practice across a variety of contexts. The programme highlights the transformational role of education that will equip occupational therapists to develop and promote sustainable and progressive practice.

Qualified teacher status (QTS)

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:

How to apply

International applicants

An IELTS may be required, with a score of 6.5 overall, with no element below 6.0

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy International students registering for the named award should be WFTO approved World Federation of Occupational Therapists, though others will be considered. Relevant experience can be accepted in place of honours degree, but some professional qualification would be required. Post qualification experience is an asset but not required

Additional fee information

Fees are per 20 credit module. The Scot/UK/ROI Dissertation fee will be £1300. The International Dissertation fee will be £1440.
