The study of psychology applies the scientific method to understand and predict human behaviour and experience. The core of the BA (Hons) Liberal Studies (Psychology) constitutes an in-depth examination of the scientific approach to understanding human behaviour and experience including the study of topics such as personality, decision-making, memory, neuroscience, mental disorder, and social interaction. The Psychology Major teaches the major areas of the discipline and covers theoretical and applied aspects of the science. At the higher level, you will study a range of more advanced options which explore specific areas of psychology in greater depth including sexuality, cultural differences and similarities, and evolution and behaviour. January start date - apply on our website. September start date - apply through UCAS.
