Turn your career up to full throttle and join a rapidly growing industry. Combining business acumen and engineering fundamentals, our challenging HND will qualify you as a technical engineer. Our emphasis on practical experience and work placements guides you into employment, supporting your career beyond your diploma. Our Manufacturing Engineering HND covers both traditional and contemporary areas of knowledge. Alongside business knowledge that will allow you to manage effectively, you’ll also acquire a well-rounded understanding of multiple aspects of engineering. Additionally, you’ll understand manufacturing processes and technology. Our industry focused HND allows you to meet employer needs, regardless of your career aims. Our selection of modules goes beyond the basics; you’ll broaden your practical understanding of manufacturing and engineering, conduct your own research study and explore emerging practices such as lean manufacturing. In addition to the knowledge gained, put your theory into practice through our research and engineering projects. If you are not already in employment, we’ll also support you with your work placement, with the end goal of you moving into relevant employment after studying.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

GCSE Maths and English (C/4 grade or above), two relevant A-levels (grade D or above), relevant BTEC Level 3/National Diploma at MM or above. Industrial experience will also be considered. English: Level B2 (CEFR), PTE 51, IELTS 6 (no element lower than 5.5) or equivalent. T Levels: In a relevant subject.
