LSBU’s History programme provides a rich historical education that allows students to develop their interest in political, social and cultural histories with a particular focus on modern history. Areas covered include historical research, British, Irish, European, American, and international history, the history of empire, and genocide. Underpinned by a commitment to social justice and global responsibility it equips students to pursue fulfilling future careers as historically informed and globally engaged citizens.
