TEF Silver
Oxford Brookes University has opted into the TEF and received a Silver award.
This degree will appeal to students who wish to explore marketing communications in depth and thus its core includes specialist modules at each level of study. This specialist study is in addition to a ’spine’ of compulsory marketing management modules, building a framework of marketing principles, management and strategy. This framework is supported by a range of optional modules from the field of marketing, other areas of business and management, and languages. Graduates of this programme might use the degree initially to take on a general marketing role or graduate traineeship in a larger organisation, or to focus on a more specialised role in marketing communications, digital marketing, or brand management, for instance. Either way, the programme provides a broad foundation of marketing knowledge and skills as the context for the development of specialist marketing communications understanding and abilities, to deliver and support contemporary employer needs.
