Course summary

The number of connected Internet of Things devices is projected to rise from 16.4 billion in 2022, to 30.9 billion by 2025 (Statista). This course is designed to meet the demand for a new kind of IT specialist who can engineer these innovative interactive products and smart objects, and embed them into larger systems and architectures. This is an exciting new programme that merges and replaces the previous MSc Internet of Things and MSc Telecommunications and Wireless Networks courses.

Entry requirements

The normal entry requirement for the MSc in Internet of Things is the equivalent of a British first or good second class honours degree in A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. We will assess your suitability for the programme individually.
