Assessment method

Assessments will predominantly be conducted through the following methods. 1. Portfolios of evidence documenting participation to sessions, rehearsals and progression towards the achievement of learning outcomes. 2.Research based assignments, reports and analysis (e.g. written academic essays, formal presentations) 3.Practical, performance based and devised projects accompanied with a reflective document/viva/presentation or recorded interview. 4. Regular assessments of learning including both formative and summative assignments. 5. A mix of both individual and group assignments were appropriate to the brief. The majority of assessments will be practical in nature due to the performative nature of the course and subject. However, in keeping the requirements of a level 4 qualification, students will also be required to complete written work to support any performances; reflections, research, analysis and reports.
