The Chichester LLB (Hons) Law degree offers you a relevant and informed approach to real world legal skills. It provides debate, discussion and learning on the core seven areas of knowledge required to progress in the profession. These include Public Law, Criminal Law, Tort Law, Contract Law, Land Law, EU Law, and Equity and Trusts. The focus is to provide you with the skills required to understand and debate the role of law in society. What does law mean - both for professional practice and for the wider society? How do legal practices and codifications change over time and why and how does this occur? Situated on the South coast, students will gain work placement opportunities, gaining experience not only from scholars but also professionals in the field. Study abroad in the US, Canada and Europe is also an optional extra that will add a further dimension to your growing CV. Transferable skills include group and independent learning, analysis, presentation, rapidity of assessment, as well as organization and communication. This is a law degree that emphasizes your growth as an individual expert and practical experience. This degree is accredited by the Solitictors' Regulatory Authority and Bar Standards Board as a Qualifying Law degree.
