From crowd behaviour to perception and studies of the brain – you’ll work with experts who will guide and support you through your research project. You’re normally expected to have a Merit (an average of 60% overall) in a Masters degree OR an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree. Your qualification should be in a relevant subject area. You may also be considered for the degree if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.

Some COGS 3-year research studentships carrying guaranteed work experience are currently offered, as well as Psychology Subject Group demonstratorships, which provide a bursary in return for undergraduate teaching; opportunities for employment in teaching and research.
