Course summary

On this MA International Fashion Marketing & Communications course, you will refine skills in marketing, communications and advertising, and specialise in global and international business management and strategy. You’ll develop an understanding of the marketing communication channels and tools that underpin the development of integrated marketing communications strategies. This course will allow you to explore creativity and theory in subject areas around fashion marketing practice, investigating creative ideas and developing practical solutions to complex industry-related challenges. You will: • Learn the technical and theoretical skills needed to create innovative and effective global marketing campaigns • Gain a deep insight into international marketing environments through the wider framework of the global market • Build your knowledge and skills to develop fashion-focused communications strategies • Unrivalled industry enrichment through masterclasses, guest speakers and panel discussions • Explore the luxury fashion sector and learn how to identify opportunities for innovative marketing campaigns • Investigate the strategic business elements of a global brand and understand how to incorporate creative marketing to achieve business objectives • Delve into the industry practices and the anatomy of the global advertising agency, the clients and concepts of advertising • Complete a self-directed Final Project that allows you to demonstrate your skills and knowledge, and contextualise these in alignment with your career goals

Modules

You’ll complete five modules, totalling 180 credits. • Global Marketing Planning & Strategy - 30 Credits • Marketing Design & Communication - 30 Credits • Creative Development Strategy & Process - 30 Credits • Advertising Management - 30 Credits • Final Project (Part 1 and Part 2) - 60 Credits Course structures and modules can change as part of our curriculum enhancement and review processes. Industry Enrichment We work with over 140 brands at the FRA. Our courses include practical, industry-focused content taught by some of fashion’s biggest names to give you valuable skills and work experience. Industry enrichment opportunities include: Guest speakers and masterclasses: Attend talks and masterclasses led by some of the top names in fashion and retail. Talks, masterclasses and live industry projects: Complete projects set by industry partners who will give you feedback and advice. *This course is subject to validation. Assessment method

This course is assessed via 100% coursework. The assessment tools include, but aren’t limited to, professionally relevant projects, essays and presentations.
