This course is a BA in Digital Content Production and Strategy, focuses on developing leadership and innovation skills relevant to a wide range of industries that are reliant on producing high-quality, high-volume content for digital platforms. The growing presence of social media, search engine algorithms, and various digital platforms has heightened the need for skilled strategists capable of producing engaging content throughout different channels. Jobs in Digital Content Production and Strategy are expected to surge by 2030, with roles like Digital Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, and Social Media Manager becoming more prominent. A study by the UK government's Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport reveals that the digital sector is growing 2.6 times faster than other industries, underlining the necessity of qualified professionals in this field. The BA Digital Content Production and Strategy will equip students with the skills they need to enter this fast-paced industry. This course will study core units in, Content Creation, Social Media Management, Data and Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Business Finance, AI Technology and Application and Career Planning; it will culminate in each student undertaking major research project that will allow them to develop an in-depth project in their area of interest, deepening their skills and applying their learning. This course also focuses on developing students’ competency in collaboration, effective communication, as well as their business acumen, making graduates highly employable in leadership and innovator roles. By the end of this course, graduates will be able to strategically plan for, create and manage the production of a wide range of digital content. They will have developed skills in collaboration, creative content production, effective communication, digital strategy, data management, social media marketing and using generative AI technology with ethical awareness. Additionally, they will be equipped to apply their learning through the development undertaken whilst working on live industry briefs, work placements, and their major project, preparing them for careers in leadership and innovation roles across digital platforms and industries.

We welcome applicants who are currently studying or who have gained a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and this qualification meets our level three entry requirements. This is a recommended qualification for many of our courses but it is not a compulsory qualification. Other relevant and equivalent Level 3 qualifications are considered on an individual basis and we are happy to accept applicants with a combination of Level 3 qualifications. Please check your qualifications using UCAS Tariff calculator and remember we are looking for the equivalent of 3 A levels if you are combining Level 3 qualifications. AUB tailors its offers to the qualifications an applicant is studying and looks for applicant to be studying a relevant creative subject. AUB makes offers based on up to three A Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications with the most UCAS Tariff points attached to them to give applicants the best chance possible at achieving our required tariff (120 UCAS Tariff points in most cases).
