The nationally recognised HNC Acting and Performance is aimed at those with experience and/or genuine interest in acting and performance. It will allow you to develop your skills in voice, movement, acting and stage craft. Taking part in performances in our versatile performing arts studio as well as in the community, you will work co-operatively in teams experiencing opportunities for leadership, and take part in innovative and creative approaches to work in rehearsal and performance.

UHI does not use Tariff points, and accepts a range of qualifications. Applicants with other relevant qualifications or experience will be considered on an individual basis.

As part of the selection process, you will be required to submit a video monologue of up to five minutes, and a short piece of written work

Our programmes are taught and examined in English. To make the most of your studies, you must be able to communicate fluently and accurately in spoken and written English in an academic environment and provide certified proof of your competence before starting your course. Please note that English language tests need to have been taken no more than two years prior to the start date of the course.
