Course summary

Our four-year MSci Nursing dual registration degree prepares you to practise in two fields of nursing. When you qualify, you will be able to apply for nursing posts in either field of practice, and for a wide variety of nursing posts which value a qualification in your specific dual field. In your first two years, you will study with BSc colleagues on modules with integrated theoretical content, where you will learn with students from all fields of nursing, developing confidence and competence in working with and caring for people across their lifespan, with a range of health needs. During your third and fourth year, you will take field-specific modules aligned to practice placements, which will help to develop proficiency in your chosen fields of practice. In Year 4, you will also develop your ability to use research to make well-informed evidence-based decisions, an important facet of leadership in nursing practice.
