We offer outstanding opportunities for study. Our MSci course appeals to students who want to continue their studies or research, or who want a distinctive qualification that will give them a competitive edge in seeking employment. We are a research-intensive department where students are taught by academics of World-leading quality. We rank among the World’s top 100 psychology departments. The MSci degree is our 4 year undergraduate course in Psychology with an ‘Integrated Masters Programme’. It leads to the award of a ‘Master of Science (Psychology)' degree and has a strong scientific nature as it is taught within the Science faculty here at York. Students on the degree will be able to immerse themselves in an intensive learning environment with teaching done by world leading researchers and the title MSci (Psychology) reflects this experience. The MSci at the University of York is a BPS accredited Psychology degree, providing the ‘Graduate Basis for Chartered membership of the Society’ (GBC).
