This course will equip you with the skills for a range of professional careers in business law. A qualifying Law degree, this course is the first step to becoming a solicitor or barrister; however it does not restrict your career choices in other fields of law.
Year 1: Legal skills, legal study, legal system; Introduction to contract and tort; Public law; Law of contract; Law of torts; Public and EU law. Year 2: Working in the law; Criminal law 1; EU rights; Criminal law 2 and the law of criminal evidence; Property, equity and trusts 1; Consumer protection and the law. Year 3: Property, equity and trusts 2; Company law; Project (business law); Land law; Employment law; Business law.
