Course summary

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative impact on business and society is increasingly becoming a core skill in the workplace within industry and government, as a greater number of jobs utilise AI based systems to solve many business problems. The MSc Management (Artificial Intelligence) at Swansea will provide a solid introduction to the business and management implications for the adoption of AI within organisations, giving students valuable insight to many of the complexities surrounding the greater use of AI. You will explore key AI principles and be equipped with core knowledge from theoretical and practice-based perspectives, giving you a detailed and systematic understanding of many of the key issues, best practice and ethical considerations within the AI domain. These key skills are increasingly in demand by many organisations at a global level. In addition, you will learn about management in an interconnected global community as well as core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles. Students must attain a 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an undergraduate degree. Any degree subject will be considered. We consider all applications on their merits and will look at each individual case before making an offer so students who fall slightly short of the entry criteria should still apply to the School of Management.
