During this BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree, we’ll give you the skills needed to structure businesses financially. Explore how technology is used to improve financial performance. You’ll learn how markets move and companies grow. You'll also develop an advanced understanding of how financial markets and banking affect business behaviour locally and globally. You’ll be given a work placement opportunity with a real business, where you’ll gain vital experience of analysing the diverse issues facing the organisations of today, as well as growing your professional networks. When you graduate you’ll be eligible for Affiliate Member status with the Chartered Management Institute.

Assessment method

Throughout the programme, there is a combination of different forms of assessment to test intellectual development, vocational capability and critical thinking. Coursework involves individual and group-based activities, case studies and problem-solving exercises. Examinations take a variety of forms, using both seen and unseen questions.

Qualification requirements

If you have a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent), there is no maximum number of qualifications that we will accept UCAS points from. This includes additional qualifications such as Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), AS Levels that haven’t been continued to A Level, and General Studies AS or A Level awards.
