Course summary

Our 2-year fast-track BA (Hons) Filmmaking offers film education in an industry setting. Taught by practising film professionals, you will gain a thorough grounding in all areas of the filmmaking process, from script to screen, and become multi-skilled and adaptable. You will acquire the real-world practical skills through work-based learning, amass numerous film credits and be able to start your career in the industry.

English language requirements

To succeed in your studies at the LFA, it is essential that you can communicate effectively in English. You may need to provide evidence of this if English is not your first language. The only exception is EU students who have previously studied and been examined in English. For international students, we can only accept the IELTS UKVI qualification. We require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
