Course summary

Our 2-year fast-track BA (Hons) Filmmaking offers film education in an industry setting. Taught by practising film professionals, you will gain a thorough grounding in all areas of the filmmaking process, from script to screen, and become multi-skilled and adaptable. You will acquire the real-world practical skills through work-based learning, amass numerous film credits and be able to start your career in the industry.

To succeed at LFA, it is essential that you provide evidence of your proficiency if English is not your first language.The exceptions are if you've studied in a country where English is the first language (such as the UK, the USA, Canada or Australia) or you are an EU student who has previously studied and been examined in English and have qualifications completed in the last 2 years. For international students, we accept the IELTS ACADEMIC qualification (minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each band).
