The Foundation Degree programme has been designed for students wishing to undertake a Higher Education course with a vocational base, providing a balance of academic lectures and practical instruction from a well-qualified lecturing team. The programme structure is designed to allow students with initially varied equestrian skills to pursue a programme of study which fits their experience to date.

Qualification requirements

Normally 5 GCSEs Including Maths and English (or equivalents) are required, however, applicants are advised to check with the University Centre if they do not possess the specific qualifications. The University Centre may consider applicants with work experience within a relevant industry in place of some qualifications. Applicants who believe they may be eligible for Accreditation of Prior Certificated and/or Experiential Learning (APCL/APEL) will be considered on an individual basis.
