Course summary
This course will provide you with the knowledge base to support provision of a service for patients with a wide range of hearing and hearing related problems. This module introduces the function & disorders of the auditory system, audiological assessment, and management of hearing disorders in adults. It encourages students to engage with evidence-based decision making and to develop the higher thinking skills that are essential for advanced clinical practice in adult auditory rehabilitation.
Assessment method
2x 2000 word written case study essays (100%). Our courses are written and delivered by staff at the forefront of Life and Health Sciences teaching and research.
