On USW's practical Computer Forensics degree, you’ll study topics that include the computer forensic process, tools and procedures, understanding digital evidence, cryptography, information security, law and ethics, and computer crime. By graduation, you’ll be able to manage a forensic case and perform technical analysis of computer-based evidence. Course content is informed by our consultancy and research work. We’ve handled cases for law enforcement and government. You’ll be trained in courtroom skills and learn how to give evidence in a court of law. You will also have the opportunity to achieve AccessData Certified Examiner status as part of your studies, which is an industry-recognised qualification. When you choose the sandwich course, you will have the option to spend a year working in industry at one of a variety of organisations.
